OmniMount Expands Motorized Product Offering
New automated cantilever mount allows users to adjust screen position from anywhere in the room via remote control and supports most large flat panels.

Phoenix, AZ – December 16, 2008 – OmniMount, the global leader in consumer and commercial A/V mounting and furniture solutions, today introduced the Power55 motorized flat panel mount. This new large remote controlled cantilever mount is the latest addition to the company’s wildly successful MotionPicture Series and augments the company’s automated product offering.

The Power55 was designed as an expansion of the current product line to accommodate most 37-inch to 55-inch flat panels up to 110 pounds. Just like the other products in the award-winning MotionPicture Series, the Power55 enables the viewer to tilt, pan and swivel a flat panel with the touch of a button, allowing for maximum viewing flexibility from anywhere in the room. The virtually silent 45dB motor, universal rails that will accommodate most any flat panel and remote controlled automation offer unparalleled convenience to every home entertainment consumer.

The Power55 tilts up to 15 degrees for glare reduction and pans 20 degrees left and right to allow viewing from more than one room. Remote controllable via IR (two memory) and RS-232 (three memory) programmable positions, it enables the user to save presets and sits a mere 2.9 inches from the wall when resting in the home position. To ensure safety, the Power55 features programmable wall detection, as well as safety mechanisms that stop motion when movement is obstructed. As with every MotionPicture Series mount, installers can expect open architecture for easy access to in-wall wiring, an installation template and level, as well as OmniMount’s exclusive Lift n’ Lock™ design for easy installation.

OmniMount’s Power40, launched in September as part of the MotionPicture Series and previously sold as the Motion40, has been a successful extension to the line. The Power40 is a medium remote controlled cantilever mount that fits most flat panels with screen sizes from 23 inches to 40 inches and weighing up to 66 pounds. It sits just 2.7 inches from the wall when in the fixed position, tilts from zero to 15 degrees to reduce glare, and pans from zero to 20 degrees left and right to accommodate most any viewing position. The Power40 is equipped with all the same safety features as the Power55 and as a single-stud mounted product, is an even quicker install.
